Our philosophy
Hi, I'm Brianna, founder of Alimenta Collective.
I created Alimenta Collective because I believe healthcare can - and should - look different.
Too often, people are left feeling dismissed, overwhelmed by conflicting nutrition advice, or disconnected from their own bodies. Somewhere along the way, many of us were taught to ignore our hunger, distrust our intuition, fear food, or believe that our health exists outside of ourselves. Our culture has spent years pulling us away from our bodies. I believe healing begins by gently finding our way back.
Whether you're living with a chronic condition, navigating hormonal concerns, healing your relationship with food, or simply searching for answers that make sense for your life, you deserve care that sees you as more than a diagnosis.
At Alimenta Collective, you are the expert on your own lived experience. My role is not to dictate your health, but to partner with you. Bringing together evidence-based nutrition, functional medicine principles, and compassionate collaboration to help you better understand your body and support its unique needs.
My hope is that our work together leaves you feeling informed, empowered, and more connected to yourself than when we began.

What You Can Expect
We practice from a weight-inclusive perspective, recognizing that health cannot be measured by a number on a scale. Our focus is on nourishment, quality of life, and helping you build a sustainable relationship with your body.
Weight-inclusive
We recognize that food, movement, and health behaviors are deeply influenced by lived experiences, trauma, neurodiversity, and access. Every recommendation is made with compassion, flexibility, and respect for your autonomy.
Trauma-informed
We combine evidence-based nutrition with functional medicine principles. When appropriate, we may recommend advanced testing, including stool, hormone, micronutrient, and traditional lab testing, to better understand your health.
Evidence Based
Sleep, stress, movement, relationships, and environment, all influence health. Nutrition is one piece of a much larger picture, and we consider the whole person—not just a diagnosis.
Whole-Person
Nutrition is one of the most powerful tools we have to support healing. Together we'll explore how food can support hormones, digestion, blood sugar, fertility, chronic disease, and overall wellbeing while honoring enjoyment, culture, and accessibility.
Food First
Understanding why your body is responding the way it is empowers you to make informed decisions. Every session is an opportunity to learn, ask questions, and build confidence in caring for yourself.
Education
We believe the best care is collaborative. We work closely with your healthcare team and maintain a trusted referral network to ensure you receive comprehensive, coordinated support.
Connected Care
We proudly provide affirming care for LGBTQIA+ and transgender individuals, BIPOC communities, people with disabilities, and clients of every body size, age, culture, and background.
